The case of the Armie truly stated, together with the mischiefes and dangers that are imminent, and some sutable remedies, humbly proposed by the agents of five regiments of horse, to their respective regiments, and the whole Army. As it was presented by Mr. Edmond Bear, and Mr. William Russell, October 15. 1647. unto his Excellency, Sir Thomas Fairfax. dc.description.abstract Signed on C4v: Robert Everard [and 11 others]. The agents' letter signed on D2r-v by Edward Trevers and 10 others. Variant: the first two signatures omitted in printing; first signature is George Garret. Edited by Sir John Wildman. The title page is a singleton and is found in two settings; "yeare" in imprint is (1) capitalized or (2) lowercased. Some copies (Wing W2168B) appear without the title page and were probably issued as such; caption title, A1r, reads: The case of the Army truly stated, togegether [sic] with .. Quire A is in two impositions with accompanying revisions to the text, and quires B and D in two settings. A2r last line has (1) "securitie" or (2) "security"; B1r catchword is (1) "deprive" or (2) "for"; D1r catchword is (1) "tures" or (2) "use,". Annotation on Thomason copy: "8ber [i.e. October] 19".
