Variant: the first two signatures omitted in printing; first signature is George Garret. Edited by Sir John Wildman. The title page is a singleton and is found in two settings; "yeare" in imprint is (1) capitalized or (2) lowercased. Some copies (Wing W2168B) appear without the title page and were probably issued as such; caption title, A1r, reads: The case of the Army truly stated, togegether [sic] with .. Quire A is in two impositions with accompanying revisions to the text, and quires B and D in two settings.
