dc.description.abstract | Sermons, without a general title page. In four parts. Part 1 reprints STC 597, 596, 616, 612, 613, 620, and 622 on continuous signatures, with only the last subsidiary title page dated; parts 2-4 are reissues of STC 624, 623, and 611 and retain their imprints--STC. Title and imprint from first sermon. Printer's name and actual publication date from STC. Each sermon in part 1 has a separate title page naming Robert Barker as the printer. That on x1r is dated 1618; the rest are undated. "The copie of the sermon preached on Good-Friday before the Kings Maiestie" identified as STC 595a on UMI microfilm reel 866. Reproductions of the originals in the Folger Shakespeare Library and the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign Campus). Library.
