dc.description.abstract Canon law of the ecclesiastical province of Canterbury as collected and abridged in 1433 by William Lyndwood. Regarded by some authorities as law of the Church of England. Includes the canons of the plenary councils of the British Isles held in 1237 and 1268 with papal legates presiding (known also as the Constitutions of Otho and Othobon). Identified as STC 10083 on UMI microfilm reel 7. Reproductions of the originals in the British Library and Cambridge University Library. Appears at reel 7 (British Library copy) and at reel 78 (Cambridge University Library copy).
