Samsons riddle, or, A bunch of bitter wormwood bringing forth a bundle of sweet smelling myrrh the first is made up of the sharpe sufferings of the Lords church in Scotland by the hands of barbarous and bloody persecutors, evident by the exact copies of the indictments, sentences, executions and deposing of their members who were executed, to be sett up in the publick places of that land : together with the forfaultries and gifts of there estates to others, extracted out of their own registers, and here inserted : the second of the savorie testimonies of those sufferers, who witnessed a good confession, patiently enduring through the sight of an invisible God, signally supporting them, as appeareth both by there letters and written testimonies directed to and left with there friends, to be published to the world, as it is here performed.
