dc.description.abstract I.D. = John Davies. The first part is reprinted from Davies' "The scourge of folly". In verse. Title page in red and black. Publisher's names from STC. "A continued inquisition against paper-persecutors. By A.H.", i.e. Abraham Holland, has separate pagination and register. This part has also been attributed to Abraham Hartwell. A reissue of the 1624 edition, with added title page. The original title page is present in most copies, and is included in pagination above. Variant: the second "u" in "ruthfull" is turned. Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
