Seasonable thoughts on the state of religion in New-England, a treatise in five parts. I. Faithfully pointing out the things of a bad and dangerous tendency, in the late, and present, religious appearance, in the land. II. Representing the obligations which lie upon the pastors of these churches in particular, and upon all in general, to use their endeavours to suppress prevailing disorders; with the great danger of a neglect in so important a matter. III. Opening, in many instances, wherein the discouragers of irregularities have been injuriously treated. IV. Shewing what ought to be corrected, or avoided, in testifying against the evil things of the present day. V. Directing our thot's more positively, to what may be judged the best expedients, to promote pure and undefiled religion in these times. : With a preface giving an account of the Antinomians, Familists and Libertines, who infected these churches, above an hundred years ago: very needful for these days; the like spirit, and errors, prevailing now as did then. The whole being intended, and calculated, to serve the interest of Christ's kingdom. / By Charles Chauncy. D.D. Pastor of the First Church of Christ in Boston.

Secrets discovered. In Englands complaint or outcry against the high and mighty Lords, the States Generall of the United Provinces, for their perfidious, deceitfull, and unthankfull proceedings against the welfare of this kingdom. Clearly laid open in a letter transmitted to a Friend who is a subject to the said states of Holland. Wherein is declared several acts of state, not onely between them and the Queene of England, but also betweene the said states and this present Parliament, by way of answer to our Parliaments severall declarations. Likewise, a discovery that notwithstanding their firme resolutions and promises to the representative body of this kingdome, concerning their neutrality, have made use of the first opportunity to strengthen the enemy against us, and suffered our Queen (not only in the time she was there) to transport... Translated out of a Dutch printed copy into English, to undeceive this Kingdom.

Secunda pars, De comparatis comparandis: seu Justificationis Regis Caroli, comparatè, contra Parliamentum. Or the second part of things compared, &c. Wherein (according to the authors promise in his first part of this subject) is at large declared, the egregious injustice and oppression, arbytrarie and violent acts and practises, and the palpable violation of the laws and liberties of this nation, by certain unfaithful, wicked men in this present Parliament, contrary to their covenant and protestation, the end of their election, and the trust by their countries reposed in them. And whatsoever is not here accomplished, shall (God willing) be fulfilled in the next. / Amon Wilbee.
