Articles of high Treason, and other high Misdemeanors, Against the LORD Kymbolton, M r Denzill Hollis, Sir Arthur Haslerig, M r Iohn Pym, M r Iohn Hampden, and M r William Strode.

1 THat they have traiter­ously endeavoured to subvert the funda­mentall Lawes and Government of the Kingdom of England, To deprive the King of his Regall Power, and to place in Subjects an Arbitrary and Tyran­nicall [Page 2]power over the Lives, Li­berties, and Estates of His Maje­sties leige people.

2 That they have traiterously en­devoured, by many foul Asperti­ons upon His Majestie and His Government, to alienate the Affe­ctions of His people, and to make His Majestie odious unto them.

3 That they have endevoured to drew His Majesties late Army to disobedience to His Majesties Commands, and to side with them in their traiterous designes.

[Page 3] 4 That they have traiterously in­vited and incouraged a forraign Power to invade His Majesties Kingdom of England.

5 That they have traiterously in­devoured to subvert the Rights and very Being of Parliaments.

6 That for the compleating of their traiterous designes they have en­deavoured (as far as in them lay) by Force and Terrour to compell the Parliament to joyn with them in their traiterous designes, and to that end have actually raised and [Page 4]countenanced Tumults against the King and Parliament.

7 That they have traiterously con­spired to leavie, and actually have leavied VVar against the King.
